Warranty

All Bikes from Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, for the original owner against all manufacturing defects.
Normal wear and tear or misuse is not covered under warranty.

If any part of the bike is defective or damaged without misuse, Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia will replace that part or in some cases the whole bike. We will first need to see the faulty component either in person or by video/photo. This warranty will only cover the original owner of the bike. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of defective parts at the sole discretion of Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia. This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owners manual, acts of god, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, wear and tear, water damage or extreme riding. Only in some cases will a totally new bike be replaced, if repairs can be made, a new bike will not always be sent out. This warranty does not include consumables or normal wear and tear parts (tyres, tubes, grips, seat, brake pads, cables and housing.)

Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia will not be responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Any damage from shipping must be reported to Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia within a reasonable amount of time after shipping arrival.

In no event shall Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence or product liability in connection with their products.
Any claim to this warranty must be made through Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia along with a copy of the original invoice within one year of purchase.

Assembly

Our bikes come well-packed and double-boxed for protection and are about 85% assembled. Some basic assembly is required, being the installation of the front wheel ( very easy with quick release ), screwing in the pedals and inserting the seat post ( these should be lightly greased). Mounting the handlebars, and placement of front / rear lights. Some models will have other components as well.
Fat Wheel E-Bikes Australia highly recommend having the bike inspected and/or assembled by your local bike shop if you are not confident.

We also recommend adjusting the brakes and gears after assembly, as these can very easily be out of adjustment after shipping.
